Angeles Police Chief Sonny Cunanan said the move is in line with the directive of Mayor Francis Nepomuceno to rid the city of illegal vices.
Central Luzon Police Regional Director Erol Pan made a similar order, according to Cunanan.
Cunanan directed all police chiefs in the city to confiscate video karera machines and stop illegal card games like sakla, monte, and others.
Cunanan said a team of policemen were tasked to conduct raids and surprise visits to establishments showing lewd shows.
“We will file charges against individuals who will be caught engaging in illegal gambling and owners of the nightclubs that will be found showing indecent shows, he added. (RGN)
