Thousands of applicants trooped to the Angeles City Library Function Hall where 22 companies processed the documents of applicants for local and overseas postings in the recent job fair dubbed "Obra Para Keka."
Part of Nepomuceno's program to elevate the economic conditions of Angeleños includes the creation of more employment opportunities and a matching skills program that is "aligned in the global setting."
At least 14 local companies participated for the local employment category while eight more firms offered jobs postings abroad.
A wide range of job opportunities is offered during the job fair, according to Nepomuceno. He said more job fairs would be scheduled for the benefit of Angeleños.
"More jobs will be made available to our constituents and we are hoping to assists more of our kabalens in the future," said Nepomuceno.
