Investigations revealed that around 10:30 p.m. last Saturday while Zuniga, along with two companions, were onboard a motorcycle, the suspects who were riding in tandem suddenly shot him several times, killing him instantly.

Quoting witnesses, police investigators said Zuniga sustained several bullet wounds on the different parts of his body.

The suspects, who were dressed in long sleeves and wearing masks on their faces, fled towards south direction after the incident.

Recovered from the crime scene were six empty shells and two deformed slugs of a .45 caliber pistol.

Investigators are looking into possible drug angle as possible motive in the killing. They are still conducting follow-up investigation to identify the real motive behind the killing.

Magnaye has ordered a manhunt operation for the identification and arrest of the suspects.
