Probe equipment given to track crimes

CAMP OLIVAS -- The Police Regional Office (PRO) 3 will give out investigation and communications equipment as well as motorcycles to all police stations in Central Luzon to fast-track crime investigation and prevention.

This was disclosed during the unveiling of marker and cutting of the ceremonial ribbon in the newly constructed Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (Neppo) on Thursday.

PRO3 Director Errol Pan said in a few months, investigation and communications equipment and motorcycles would be given to all police stations in the region.

Meantime, recipient of the new police buildings in Nueva Ecija were the Carranglan and Gabaldon police stations.

Pan led the unveiling of the marker and the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon along with Nueva Ecija Provincial Police Director Napoleon Taas and Senior Inspector Angelito Ramos, Carrangalan chief of police, among others.

Aside from awarding PNP personnel, Pan also lauded all the officers of Neppo specifically the members of the Carranglan and Gabaldon police stations for their dedication and loyalty to the police service and in bringing back the glory of the "mamang pulis", a protector in time of danger and a neighbor to call in the wee hours of the night.

Pan added that four more newly constructed police buildings will be inaugurated. These include the Castillejos Police Station in Zambales, Victoria Police Station in Tarlac PPO, Minalin Police Station in this province and one police station in Bulacan. (MHD)
