Town Police Chief Jovencio Flores said San Diego died after the vehicle he was riding was involved in a chain collision of at least three vehicles along MacArthur Highway Barangay Dolores here on Saturday night.

The vehicles involved in the accident were a six-wheeler truck, a passenger bus, and an XLT-type of vehicle where San Diego was riding.

"San Diego and his five relatives who were also in the same vehicle sustained serious injuries after their vehicle was hit by the truck and bus," Flores said.

A case of reckless imprudence resulting to homicide was filed against the driver of the bus who was identified as Gerald Ford Sagun, 33, of Number 317 Rizal Street, Camiling, Tarlac.

Sagun is now detained at the Angeles City District Jail.

San Diego's body was taken to the Galang Funeral Parlor for autopsy.

Rivera, on the other hand, was killed after a passenger bus along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Mabiga here hit him at dawn on Sunday.

He was crossing the road on board a bicycle when he was accidentally hit and ran over by the bus.

Flores said the victim instantly died due serious injuries he sustained.
