He said the 84-seater air-conditioned "tax payers' lounge" is "one way of giving back to the people of Angeles City the tax they pay to the City Government."

"The tax payers will now have convenience while transacting with the local government," said Nepomuceno.

A numbering system will also be implemented to regulate transaction at City Hall. Free coffee will be provided inside the lounge, which is also equipped with cable TV sets.

Business One Stop Shop (Boss) head Roxas Sangalang and City Treasurer Juliet Quinsaat assisted the mayor in opening the lounge to the public.

Nepomuceno has earlier identified the top 10 business taxpayers and the top 10 Real Property Taxpayers in the city.

The top taxpayers include the Angeles Electric Corporation, Monde Nissin Corporation, San Miguel Corporation, AC Grand Cinema Corporation, Johnny's Supermarket, Robinsons Supermarket, Avon Cosmetics, NCR Construction Supply, Jenra Supermarket and Manson Drugs.

The top real property taxpayers are Juan Nepomuceno, Robinsons, Altus Angeles Incorporated, TGN-Teresa Nepomuceno, Ramon Tang, Ricardo Tan, Neo Art (Retrocrafters Inc.), Timog Silangan Development Corporation, Neplum Oasis Hotel and Jazdale Incorporated. (RGN)
