ANGELES City Mayor Francis Nepomceno recently stressed that there are no lewd shows and illegal gambling in the city as he belied reports that Angeles City has once again become a “Sin City”.
Nepomuceno said his administration is upholding a sustained campaign against lewd shows and illegal gambling in this city.
He said an anti-gambling task force has been formed, with Councilor Agapito Del Rosario as its head, to run after all forms of illegal gambling including the numbers game jueteng.
Nepomuceno said definitely this city does not deserve the tag Sin City, as entertainment here is not in any way like those during the presence of American military men at the Clark Air Base.
The mayor suspected that there could be something behind the recent news reports.
He even challenged reporters and the people of Angeles to pinpoint the establishments in this city that have lewd shows. (DMF)
