CAMP OLIVAS -- A 73-year-old woman was allegedly killed on Friday inside her house by still unidentified persons in Sitio Dungan, San Pablo Libutad, San Simon town, police reports said.

Pampanga Provincial Police Director Keith Ernald Singian identified the victim as Precentacion Flores Yabut, single, and a resident of the area.

Investigations disclosed that Yabut was found lifeless inside her house at around midnight last Friday. Her neck was slashed with a knife.

Yabut, police said, lived alone.

Witnesses theorized that Yabut's perpetrators were under the influence of illegal drugs when they killed her.

Singian has ordered the San Simon police to conduct an in-depth investigation to identify and arrest the perpetrators.
