'Grand Event'
By Pritz O. Faustino

"A SHOW, first of its kind in Central Luzon!" That is how the renowned choreographer and Arti Sta. Rita founder Andy Alviz has described of what shall transpire in the "Grand Event" happening on Saturday. In fact, Alviz even gave a fearless forecast that this shall be the start of something glittery, yet a purposeful regional TV entertainment.

Something that is only found in national television networks shall now be seen in CLTV 36, with the same quality -- if not even more.

Arroyo Watch: Sun.Star blog on President Arroyo

Breaking the traditional habit of television viewing is what CLTV 36 has been known for since its birth in 2007. From telenovela hoopla, Central Luzon viewers made a switch of interest in monitoring what is happening in the region. CLTV Balitaan and Hamon: Central Luzon yielded a good amount of following, proving that the true taste of the people in the region is the uniqueness of local flavor.

Thus, as CLTV 36 celebrates its first year anniversary and gives back to its audience a token of gratitude for the continued support, another milestone is about to take place in regional television history.

The CLTV 36 homegrown talents take the lead in extravagant production numbers, with Patrizia Asuncion, Ysobel del Rosario, Jennifer Salenga and Dianne dela Fuente-Tiongson. Joining the team are the University of the Assumption Presidential Choir, Angeles University Performing Arts, the talents from the Academy of Performing Arts, the well loved Arti Sta. Rita, Aslag Kapampangan Singers, Kenyo Band and the new singing sensation, Ara Mina.

The region has a treasure chest of talents yet to be revealed. The overflowing pool made tapping those already known nationally, insignificant. Rehearsal after rehearsal, the energy just surmounts!

What's more is that CLTV will finally pull down the curtains and reveal what shall be in store for 2008 and the many more years as it pulls the provinces of Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales in one dynamic that makes it divergent among other regions in the country.

Central Luzon is one region and everything is on one station!

CLTV 36, our channel!
