Saligao said the suspects shot the Kelly in the face after the Australian resisted when they tried to rob him in front of Bretto's Fine Meat Deli Shop at Don Juico Avenue in Clarkview, Malabanias.
Kelly just exited the meat shop and was about to board his vehicle when the suspects suddenly appeared and tried to rob him.
After shooting the Australian businessman, the suspects took his gold bracelet worth P90,000 and fled towards western direction.
The victim was rushed by witnesses to a nearby hospital.
