CyberCity lauds loyal workers

CLARK FREEPORT ZONE -- The tradition goes on as Cyber City Teleservices commends its 176 regular employees for their continuous five-year service with the company.

During the recognition ceremony for its Batch 2001 employees, Cyber City president Jonathan Rosenberg handed over a plaque of loyalty and appreciation to the honorees.

Senior executive vice president (EVP) George Sorio and chief operating officer (COO) Alrmerita Leung assisted Rosenberg during the distribution.

In his inspirational talk, Rosenberg said: "We are very proud of the five fruitful years this team has served at Cyber City and we ask you for another five more. Cyber City's growth continues. The company is expanding locally and globally, thus creating more career and travel opportunities for its members. We are opening another facility in Manila shortly and you are invited to its opening."

George Sorio likewise commended the employees in completing their five-year continuous service with a dynamic company like Cyber City. He conveyed his sincere appreciation for their loyalty despite industry competition as well as their contribution in promoting and preserving the company's unique culture.

Representatives from the group of awardees expressed their gratitude for the company's unwavering support in their personal and professional growth. They shared testimonies and memories of how they grew, enjoyed and viewed the company as their second home and family.

Most of these employees now occupy managerial and supervisory positions at Cyber City.

Highlights of the party included raffle prizes, sumptuous dinner, and live band entertainment at the Sorio Hall Polytechnic in this Freeport Zone.

As a pioneer call center in the country, Cyber City maintains its culture of appreciation and keeps its tradition of recognizing employees with five years of continuous service with the company.

Two years ago, Cyber City celebrated a similar event, which included 97 employees hired in year 2000.

Cyber City will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in the Philippines next summer.
