The training was part of the anti-drug campaign initiated by Decma founder and president Salvador Panlilio.
According to Panlilio, drug is a continuing threat to young people in this town, which is considered among the most peaceful localities in Pampanga.
"It's important that the youth are supported and protected from this modern scourge through various undertakings, among them martial arts training," he said.
Panlilio congratulated the first batch of participants and urged them "to keep up the good work" by staying away from illegal drugs and improve their martial arts discipline.
A continuation of the training for the first batch is scheduled on June 28.
