This, as the construction of the Mexico Community Hospital is set to start this September.
According to Mayor Teddy Tumang, the 50-bed hospital will be constructed in Barangay San Carlos here.
"Plans have been finalized, and our target for the construction of the hospital is in September. With a P50 million funding and the generous support and assistance of Congressman Dong Gonzales, the hospital will be fully-equipped to serve the needs of the people of Mexico. It has long been our desire to have a community hospital of our own, and we'll see to it that this need is met as health is one of the core programs of this municipal administration," he said.
Tumang added that he and Gonzales have discussed matters regarding the hospital and agreed to fast-track its construction. (JTL)
