CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Provincial Disaster Coordinating Council (PDCC) said it has enough supplies for people who will be affected by flood brought about by continuing rains.
Luchie Gutierrez, acting PDCC director, said the council is responding to isolated cases of flooding all over Pampanga.
Gutierrez, however, stated that no areas in the province have so far been declared under state of calamity.
She showed to the local journalists the stockpile of noodles, canned goods, and other food supplies at the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) regional office in Sindalan here.
"We also have stockpile of the National Food Authority (NFA) rice," she said.
She added that municipalities may declare their respective areas under state of calamity if 20 percent of their populations are already affected. (RGN)
