The feeding program, dubbed "Graduation-Bantay Kalusugan," was a joint project of Delfin Lee of Globe Asiatique and ABS-CBN Inc. Bantay Bata 163.
With a theme: "Sa Wastong Nutrisyon ni Mommy siguradong healthy si Baby," the program was launched to promote good health for indigent children of Bacolor.
The two major sponsors started feeding the children in February and lasted on August 1.
A recent culminating activity for the nutrition month was hosted by Jelai and Earl of Bantay Bata 163. Children from various barangays presented intermission numbers such as dancing, poetry, singing and even doxology.
Bacolor Vice Mayor Diman Datu thanked all the sponsors who gave all their supports for making the feeding program a success.
Other personalities who graced the event were Mayor Buddy Dungca, Bantay-Bata 163 managing director Gina Lopez, Divine Lee of Globe Asiatique, and Dr. Janet Trinidad.
About 500 children who benefited from the feeding program came from barangays Cabalantian, Cabetican, Magliman, San Vicente, Calibutbut, San Isidro, Santa Ines, Macabacle, and Cabambangan.
Certificates of appreciation were awarded to village chiefs David Nestor, Jose Marie Hizon and Jaime Hernandez for their support to the program.
Awards were also given to some children including Jerome Junio of Barangay Cabalantian, Erwin Calagua of Barangay Cabetican, Patrick Quiambao of Barangay San Isidro, Denmark Joy Panlilio of Barangay Magliman, Rollen Trinidad of Cabambangan Chapter, Jeremy Serrano of Barangay Cabetican, Jester Miranda of Barangay San Isidro and Aries Macaliwa of Barangay Macabacle.
