The lone awardee for the Medalya ng Kagalingan is Superintendent Reynaldo Fulgar of the Bulacan police. Fulgar was commended for his performance in the ballistics examination of the evidence in two crime incidents.

Although the two crime incidents were distant from one another, Fulgar was able to show that the firearm used in the two incidents was one and the same.

Superintendent Daisy Babor of the Pampanga police was awarded the Medalya ng Kasanayan. Babor was recognized for her invaluable contribution to the PNP's "One Province, One Crime Laboratory Project."

Babor also heads the Regional Crime Laboratory Office (RCLO) 3 during which she facilitated the establishment of provincial crime laboratories in the provinces of Aurora and Zambales.

The Medalya ng Kasanayan was also awarded to Superintendents Jude Doble and Edilberto Lajom, Chief Inspector Ronald Yusi, Senior Police Officer 2 Miguel Acosta, and SPO1 Apolonio Salas.

The said officers' effective conduct of the Scene of the Crime Operations led to the early resolution of a shooting incident in Olongapo City.

Meanwhile, Superintendent Ricardo Hidalgo, Senior Inspector Ma. Elvira Bautista, Inspector Jebie Timario, and SPO1 Apolonio Sales were awarded the Medalya ng Papuri for the services they rendered in the seminar on crime prevention. The seminar was conducted in 76 barangays in Tarlac Province. (IOF)
