ANGELES CITY -- Hundreds of residents in Barangay Cutcut here benefited from a medical mission sponsored by the Philippine Air Force (PAF) 600th Air Base Wing based in Clark Freeport.
Colonel Francisco Cruz, 600th Air Base Wing commander, said about 600 residents received medical and dental attention from PAF medical team and civilian volunteer doctors and nurses.
Cruz said they also distributed free medicines and vitamins to the patients.
The barangay council of Cutcut assisted the PAF in the conduct of the medical mission by commissioning city health officials and providing the necessary equipment.
Cutcut chairman Robin Nepomuceno lauded the Air Force for implementing the project in the village.
Cruz said the PAF has been implementing several social programs, including "Adopt a Barangay," among others, in areas near military bases.
