Oliveros said the DOST through the Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) will award scholarships in Bachelor of Science (BS) degree programs to qualified fourth year high school students who belong to the top five percent of the total graduating class.

Qualified students must pursue science and technology priority courses.

Also qualified to take the examination are all fourth year students enrolled under the 110 science and technology oriented high schools and Department of Education (DepEd) recognized high schools -- special science class curriculum of their respective schools.
