AS THE Christian world is united in celebration of Christmas on Thursday, children and the young once, rejoice in the merriest day of the year.

Christmas is made not only of gifts, partying, fine food and good cheer. It is also the time of our life when we make wishes.

I have only one wish for myself, but I want to know the world of my fondest wishes for certain friends and as public celebrities:

Governor Eddie Panlilio – A running mate for 2010.

Vice Gov. Joseller "Yeng" Guiao – A gold medal for the national team.

Atty. Vivian Dabu – A Provincial Board resolution certifying her appointment as Provincial Administrator.

Jun Sula – A Valentine Card for Ate Vi.

The Balas Protesters – Full payment of backwages and benefits followed by the dismantling of their illegal camp.

Provincial Board Members – To get unplugged from a single circuit.

Jose "Joe" Tulio – a mayorship for his great love, Divine Tulio, that she may fulfill fully her aspiration for public service.

To All "MaArti" matrons – More public engagements and sexier numbers.

Rosve Henson – Make "Kambilan" a truly cause–oriented initiative and reinvent this tool of Recall Movement to a pro-people organization.

Fr. Restituto Lumanlan – empowerment for Sinukwan organization to sponsor/adopt at least three or more students to the Seminary yearly.

Atlee Viray – to continue doing periodic columns for Sun Star.

P/SSpt. Keith Ernald Singian – Permanent appointment as Provincial Police Director.

Land Transportation Office – To set aside a single day each week and apprehend violators of the anti-pollution law as they spread toxic emission through the length of the Angeles-San Fernando stretch of McArthur Highway.

Rene Romero – To focus his health advocacy efforts by helping the LTO implement the anti-pollution campaign, at least in this controlled-area by the deputization of his ADCL task force for this purpose.

Dr. Eddie Ponio – To accept the fact his position at the Diosdado Macapagal Memorial Hospital is not titled under his job as provincial health officer.

Director Besila Lantayona (DTI-Region III) – To come up with a list of selected enterprises/products under the One Town One Product program in target municipalities, rather than issuing press releases on the project.

Ma. Lorelei Fajardo – (deputy presidential spokesperson and presidential assistant for Central Luzon) – Declaring her as Adopted Daughter of Pampanga.

Duman festival leaders – To ensure that the average Pampango family may enjoy the Sta. Rita "duman," the high prized specialty food by selling it at P1,000 per "salop" instead of P2,000.

Rep. Mikey Arroyo – A mandate as lone candidate to oppose Governor Panlilio in 2010 after the Lapids and Pinedas would have given way to the young "Godfather."

Mark Sison – Postgraduate studies (Alzheimer's).

Fer Caylao – Postgraduate studies (Traffic Management).

City Mayor Oca Rodriquez - A rejuvenated heart to withstand the rigors and challenging tasks in his First Class City.

Andrea "Didi" Domingo – A trampoline to jump start a come back lay-up to CSF.

Mrs. Lolita O. Hizon – a genuine reconciliation with her former priest-friend, Among Ed; failing that, she can now forgive and forget.

Secretary Ed Pamintuan – a quick decision if he is "in" or "out" of the political battles in 2010.

CIAC Pres. Victor Jose Luciano – completion of his Terminal building expansion program, and more international flights at the DM International Airport.

Mayor Boking Morales – City status for Mabalacat; more stamina and stronger passions.

City Mayor Blueboy Nepomuceno – A budget surplus for 2010.

Delfin Lee – "All Sold Out" status of his Pampanga Xevera projects.

Barangay chairman Tony Mamac – A gym where to train as the Third Man in the ring.

CDC Pres. & CEO Benny Ricafort – Full development work for his 2nd Frontier thrust at Sacobia; more, new, and expanding investments inside Clark.

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo – To continue serving her term unhampered until 20l0 above and beyond the call of duty.

CHED Chairman Emmanuel Angeles – To rid the country of fly-by-night schools for higher education.

Rep. Anna York B. Sagum - To give back the congressional seat originally belonging to her brother.

Former congressman Rimpy Bondoc (4th district) to enable him to realize higher service potentials.

Rep. Tarzan Lazatin – A second doctorate degree for Political Science, the 1st being for Humanities.

Board Member Edna David – A new lifetime partner.

Barangay chairman Jomar Hizon – Mayorship of Bacolor.

Engineer Rox Peρa – DENR undersecretary.

Angelo "Sonny" Lopez – A TV radio station of his own.

Alex Cauguiran – A dietician girlfriend.

Dennis Pineda – Congressional seat after Rep. Mikey Arroyo.

Paul "Concon" Laus – My nominee as Among Ed's running mate.

Antolin Paule (SM Pampanga manager) – A Community Service Award from City of San Fernando.

Elvira Obana (NFA Pampanga general manager) – Muse of the Federation of Pampanga Rice Dealers Associations.

Mayor Jerry Pelayo – You better watch out!

Dr. Rey Aquino – Let me try again.

Paolo Hizon – Best friend of the Year.
