Search for Maharlikang Pangasinan 2003 on

LINGAYEN -- A province-wide search for the gentleman that will embody the ideal of Maharlikang Pangasinan will begin with a formal screening set for Monday, April 21, in the Lingayen Resort at 1 p.m.

Maharlikang Pangasinan 2003, a male personality search, emerged as one of the leading male pageants to reckon with in the entire province of Pangasinan and in the region.

It is expected to be a gathering of the brightest and talented young men. Though this is only the first staging of Maharlikang Pangasinan search, the pageant organizers are optimistic that the quest will draw a huge crowd on the pageant night.

All males with the following qualifications are enjoined to participate in what is believed to be one of the main events of the year: a resident of Pangasinan, at least 17-24 years old; good looking with good physique, at least high school graduate, and with good moral character.

Application forms are available at Pistay Dayat Secretariat Tourism Office. Prospective candidates are advised to submit their resume on or before April 21.

An exciting prize package awaits the winners. Prizes at stake are the following: Maharlikang Pangasinan gets a hefty sum of P20,000; 1st runner up will receive P15,000; and the 2nd runner up will win P10,000. Minor awards will also be given away during the pageant night.

The pageant night will be on May 2 at the Capitol Grounds. Maharlikang Pangasinan 2003 enthusiasts are likewise advised to bring their birth certificate and their swimwear during the formal screening on Monday. LCH
