Carmak Motors Corp. opens Lingayen branch By Giovanni F. Madrid
IN AN EFFORT to bring closer to western Pangasinenses its motorcycle dealership, Carmak Motors Corp. has opened its doors to its would-be clients in Lingayen town on Friday morning.
Armando 'Ding' Lao, president and chief executive officer of Carmak said, "in as much as we cater to the whole of Pangasinan, we opted to open a branch here in this town, so our clients would no longer travel that far in coming to our main branch in Dagupan City."
The newly opened branch, it was learned, would concentrate on motorcycle sales, parts and services to its now, hundreds of clients in this western part of the province.
The blessing of the newly opened establishment was officiated by Rev. Fr. Camilo V. Natividad, parish priest of Lingayen Parish Church while Carmak president Lao did the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon.
Prior to the opening, a motorcade was conducted along the main thoroughfares of the town, which made its way to Barangay Socony junction in Bugallon town. About 20 motorbike riders who had earlier bought their units from Carmak accompanied the simple but meaningful motorcade.
Even after the inauguration of the new branch could be through, a big number of clients have already signed up for purchase of their respective choice of motorcycle brand. On its opening, the company sold at least seven units that day.
