More than 50 schoolchildren under the care of the City Social Welfare Office (CSWO) will participate in the event.
This year's theme is "Bright Child: Sa Tamang Pag-aaruga, Kinabukasan ay Maginhawa."
The CSWO prepared several activities for the participants. These are supported by the Department of Education (DepEd), Philippine Mental Health, Innerwheel Club of Dagupan, Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) City Federation, Kalinga ng Ama Shelter for Children, Liwawa ed Asinan Foundation (Leaf), Haven for Children, Coca-Cola Bottling Company and various transport groups and fast food chains in the city.
The Indian, Muslim and Chinese communities will join poster making contest, English tutorials, values training, clean-up drive, tree planting, Garantisadong Pambata, gupit program, recycling workshops, intercultural presentation and variety show, distribution of sleepers to street children, field trips, art work, camping, feeding program, film showing, and story telling.
