Nothing definite on probe - Suarez
By Antonet Go

CHIEF Traffic Pol. Insp. Mariano Robertson Suarez has clarified that the real story about the falsification of traffic accident report will be known in due time.

According to Suarez, he expects an on ongoing investigation to shed light on the subject matter.

The pre charge division of the city police command is conducting its own investigation on the alleged fabrication of false accident reports that are used by unscrupulous persons to replace their old sidecars or motorized tricycles.

Four policemen have been named as allegedly involved in the fabrication of falsified traffic accident reports, which are used as basis for motorized tricycle owners to change sidecars or motorcycles in the city.

P01 Gazbamiller M. Guzman authenticated the charge sheet last May 30.

Inspector Suarez hints that there is more than meets the eye in the implication of some names in the anomaly.

He declined to elaborate on efforts of some sectors to discredit policemen from this city.

The Committee on Franchise of the city council under Councilor Cesar S. Ituralde wants to find the answer to complaints that some people have connived with each other to cause the approval of new tricycle franchise in the city.

Ituralde claimed that many certifications of traffic accidents issued by the Traffic Division were fabricated or mere fabrications.

The committee also discovered that tricycles certified as involved in accidents and damaged are actually in good condition and plying the city streets.

Witnesses were called and both sides presented evidences to Police Inspector Hado Edding who served as the arbiter.
