Lobregat to press Arroyo on Cabatangan purchase
MAYOR Maria Clara Lobregat is expected to bring up the purchase of the Cabatangan property with President Arroyo, who is expected to be in the city Thursday for the 105th Independence Day celebration.
"Cabatangan" was what the mayor said when asked about what she will take up with the President.
The City Government is determined to acquire the Cabatangan complex property and has already set aside P20 million to buy the property from the National Government.
In two plebiscites held in previous years, the people of Zamboanga have voted for exclusion from the expanded Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao
