Water rationing to stay

AN OFFICIAL of the Zamboanga City Water District (ZCWD) has cautioned that water rationing will still continue because the water level in the dam is still low.

Water Treatment Division Manager Teotimo Reyes Jr. that the water in the plant will continue to decrease if there will be no rain.

Reyes said that the level of the water at the intake dam last week was at
73.8 M while the latest is 74.03.M.

"That 74.03 is good enough to serve to the people but the only thing that we should do being the consumer of water is that we should accept heartily the rationing of water because this is the only way to conserve water as of the moment." Reyes said.
