Council wants status of unsolved crimes

THE City Council will look into the status of unsolved crimes in the city.

This, as city officials urged the city police to intensify its hunt for criminals in Zamboanga.

Vice Mayor Erico Basilio Fabian Tuesday requested the City Council committee on peace and order to check on the status of recent killings in the city.

Fabian said Councilor Elias Enriquez, who chairs the committee on peace and order, has to make sure that justice is served to the family and relatives of murder victims.

The vice mayor said he has received complaints that murder cases in the city remain unsolved to press time.

Fabian mentioned in particular the murder of Dr. Pedro Padua who was shot inside his car in his house. Letty M. Militante
