Council to resolve proposed 'trike' fare hike

THE City Council is now tackling in its regular Thursday session the recommendations of the Committee of the Whole, which conducted a public hearing Wednesday on the tricycles' fare matrix.

Vice Mayor Beng Climaco, who chaired the Committee of the Whole during the hearing, said she would opt for the adoption of the P10 flat rate and 2 pesos per additional kilometer regardless of the number of passengers.
