Couple, son wanted for murder of kin
ELEMENTS of the National Bureau of Investigation and the local police are tracking down a couple and their son in Dipolog City after being tagged as allegedly responsible in the killing of another family member.
Hunted down were Agaton and Flaviana Sagapsapan, and their son Vicente, all of Maria Uray, Dapitan City.
A report from the Dipolog Police Station disclosed that the suspects allegedly masterminded the killing of Arsenio Sagapsapan, the couple's son, who was gunned down on August 11 near the victim's residence.
The operatives learned the suspects' involvement on the crime after two of the three hired killers were arrested on an entrapment operation conducted last Tuesday afternoon, at Sunset Boulevard, Dipolog City.
The alleged notorious killers--identified as Jovanel Tubat and Randy Bayon-- reportedly admitted during interrogation that the victim's family, through their contact person Tata Allones, hired their services to liquidate the latter.
They were allegedly paid to kill the victim for unknown reason, the suspects, who were feared guns-for-hire in the city, said.
With this development, the police immediately launched a wide manhunt operation against the suspects who earlier managed to elude arrest.
The police have already filed murder charges against the suspects.
