THE Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) accused the Philippines before the Organization of Islamic Conference in Saudi Arabia of violating a nine-year-old peace accord it signed with the former rebel group.
A small group of senior MNLF leaders were in Saudi Arabia and told the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) that Filipino troops mounted a massive assault against MNLF forces in island of Jolo, about 950 kilometers south of Manila, in the guise of pursuing members of the al-Qaeda-linked Abu Sayyaf group.
