THE New People's Army (NPA) on Friday strongly denied police charges that one of its fighters was behind the killing of two journalists in Kidapawan City in North Cotabato.

Police have tagged Dionisio Madanggit, an alleged NPA hitman, as the killer of George Vigo and his wife Mazel. The couple was shot dead late Monday afternoon in Sandawa district.
