Smart offers 3G Try, Win Promo at wireless centers
Smart 3G is here and you can try it out firsthand. With "Smart 3G Try and Win Promo," Smart subscribers can experience for themselves video calling, video streaming, video and music downloads, live TV and high-speed Internet at selected Smart Wireless Centers --- and win a 3G phone.
Take Diana Trinidad. A student, Diana registered for the promo at the Smart Wireless Center in SM Mall of Asia and won an Ericsson K608i in the first draw last July 3.
"Just trying out SMART 3G services at the wireless center was already fun. But winning a 3G phone in the process made it even better. Thanks to Smart, I can now access all the exciting SMART 3G services anytime!" she said.
Since Smart 3G was launched in February this year, over 21 Wireless Centers have been conducting live demonstrations, attracting hordes of interested subscribers.
For the month of July, a Nokia N70 and an Ericsson K608i are up for grabs. To join, a Smart subscriber simply tries out any of the following Smart 3G services: video calling, video streaming and high speed Internet access while assisted by a demo personnel.
After making one successful 3G transaction, the subscriber can register for free by sending: 3G REG name, address, age, gender, WC (Wireless Center) Code via text to 286. After receiving a text message confirming successful registration, he earns one point (or one entry) for the raffle. Only one name may be registered under each mobile number.
Additional entry points may be earned by subscribers whenever they download music, caller ringback tunes, logos, MMS wallpapers and other content which can be accessed via 286 at selected Wireless Center download stations or through regular SMS. For example, downloading one SMS or MMS image earns six raffle entries. To check accumulated raffle entries, send 3G POINTS to 286.
The last date for registration is July 31. The names of the two winners will be drawn on August 1. (Press release)
