TOP officials of the Philippine National Bank (PNB) in the region are set to meet this week in Zamboanga City to discuss PNB's plans and programs for 2007.
PNB Senior Assistant Vice President and Regional Business Manager Teresita Uy-Sebastian on Tuesday told Sun Star on-line that a total of 12 PNB managers will attend the PNB-Western Mindanao Regional Business Meeting (WMRBM).
Sebastian said aside from the PNB managers in the Zamboanga Peninsula area, bank managers from the same banking institution based in the cities of Oroquieta and Ozamis in Misamis Occidental and Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi provinces are also attending the meeting.
She said they will tackle several issues and concerns of which PNB is engaged with.
"Aside from the traditional product, which is banking, we are also into bank assurance business," she said.
Among the businesses PNB is engaged with are insurance business both for life and non-life, and service and product for the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their dependents, according to Sebastian.
