AN INTERNATIONAL shipping firm that operates cruise ships is hiring fresh graduates of Hotel and Restaurant Management (HRM) course and licensed marine engineers.
Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) president Enrie Caraecle said the company is known as the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group that operates cruise ships.
Caraecle said the company needs at least 300 HRM fresh graduates and also 300 licensed marine engineers.
He said applicants who possess the qualification should take the examination to be given by the firm before employment.
He said ZSCMST has 15 HRM graduates who would possibly work in one of the cruise ships of A.P. Moller-Maersk Group.
He said the starting salary is $1,200 monthly which is equivalent to P57,912 at an exchange rate of P48.26 to a dollar.
According to its website, A.P. Moller-Maersk Group is an international company of Danish origin widely recognized for its activities within shipping, energy, offshore, retail and industry.
It said that the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group has more than 110,000 employees and offices in over 125 countries.
