City dad recommends revision of market security measures
A new mall is being constructed in downtown Zamboanga City's commercial center. Officials said this is an indication that the business climate in the city is improving. (Sunnex/Bong Garcia)
A LOCAL official, whose work involves security matters, is recommending the review of the security measures at the old public market in Zamboanga City.

Councilor Cesar Itturalde, chairman committee on peace and order, said Mayor Celso Lobregat and City Administrator Elias Enriquez should study on how to strengthen the security measure at the old public market to prevent violent incidents, like bombings, from taking place in the area.
