GOVERNMENT forces stormed a safe house Thursday evening and apprehended three persons believed to be members of the al Qaeda-linked Abu Sayyaf bandits in the island province of Sulu.
Lieutenant Colonel Bartolome Bacarro, information officer of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), said the raiding team also seized four high-powered firearms during the raid.

Comelec deputizes Westmincom to render pool duty
