The slain victims were identified as Jerry Canday, 48, and Suzana Adang, 56. Both died on the spot.

Wounded was Bing Adang, 67.

The report said that four unidentified gunmen arrived in the village of Upper Tungawan and awakened the residents by firing their guns into the air.

The suspects strafed the houses of the victims when they refused to come out of their respective homes, the report said.

The police have yet to establish the motive of the incident.
