The Zamboanga del Norte Police Office (ZNPO) identified the victim as Edglin Gonad, of Pasonanca village, Zamboanga City. She is working as a cashier of the Dipolog City-based Protector and Gamble that deals in manufacturing detergent soap.
The ZNPO reported that Gonad, 29, was aboard a multi-cab together with two other Procter and Gamble employees -- Gerson Puson, 36, and Fel Amore Langub, 26 -- when two gunmen aboard on a motorcycle blocked their path and declared the heist.
One of the suspects ordered Edglin (Gonad) in Visayan dialect "ihatag ang kwarta" and forcibly grabbed the big plastic bag containing the cash amounting to more or less P793,919.35.
The suspects immediately escaped aboard a motorcycle without registered plate number after taking possession of the money. (Bong Garcia)
