Killed was PO1 Bonifacio Pinongcos, 32, married, of the 9th Regional Mobile Group stationed in Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay.
The report disclosed that Pinogncos was together with some of his friends at the residence of Didi Debalucos when the gunman appeared and shot the victim in the head.
Pinongocs’ companions failed to recognize the lone gunman who fled under cover of darkness after shooting the policeman.
The Mahayag police are conducting a thorough investigation to identify the assailant. (Bong Garcia)
