Si Latlat Andaya nga taga lungsod sa Tagoloan nagpabilib sa audience dihang kumpiyansa kaayo sa kaugalingon mitubag sa question and answer portion.
Gipabilib niini ang mga judges lakip audience sa iyang tubag sa gipangutana sa host: Isip miyembro sa LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender) community, unsay iyang kontribusyon o unsaon niini pagpromote sa Misamis Oriental?
Matud ni Andaya: "Our province Misamis Oriental is a province of success and progress. As a member of LGBT community how will I help to promote the province? I myself is not easy to promote Misamis Oriental why? Because there should be a cooperation from the official of each municipality of the province."
"As a member of LGBT I believe that I can be the voice of LGBT not just for the transgender like me but also for the men and women who encountered discrimination and maltreatment."
"I can also be inspiration to others and as I am standing here in front of you I considered myself as influence to women why? because this pageant is a prestigious one for us transgender here in Misamis Oriental."
"I believe that in this fast changing world to promote the tourism and province of Misamis Oriental we can use the web, the internet, the social media not just me as a homosexual but you also can help me to promote our province because this is our place, this is our home Misamis Oriental. With that said we should not wait what our province can do to us but we should do what we can do to our province," kumpiyansang tubag niini.
Ang 1st Runner Up naangkon ni Jaja Guimalan gikan sa lungsod sa Laguindingan; 2nd Runner Up mao si Julia Barreto gikan sa Naawan; 3rd Runner Up si Jane Garcia gikan sa Balingasag; ug 4th Runner-Up si Yesha Cataleya Macaranas nga garbo sa lungsod sa Talisayan.
Malipayon sab si Misamis Oriental Governor Yevgeny Vincente Emano nga natapos ang Kuyamis festival duyog sa usa sa highlight sa kalihokan nga mao ang Miss Gay.
"People had been asking why culminate with Miss Gay? With our ordinance amended in the Province of Misamis Oriental the LGBT community is already recognized. In fact in every event kini intawon sila ang LGBT maoy nagtabang sa inyong mga kandidata nga mahatagan sa katahom, matagaan sa kamaanyag. Kung ato sila gikinahanglan sa mga kalihokan sama ini naa sila but sometimes we even failed to respect them. Sometimes ato gani sila gakaabusohan but tonight we are making it also very clear once again that in Misamis Oriental you LGBT community will always be respected and recognized," pahayag ni Emano.
