GIKASUBO sa mga opisyal sa kagamhanan sa dakbayan sa Sugbo ang kamatayon ni Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo gumikan sa pagkahagsa sa iyang gisakyang eroplano sa kadagatan sa Masbate niadtong Sabado.
Si Vice Mayor Joy Augustus Young nasagmuyo sa hitabo ug nakapangutana sa iyang kaugalingon kon nganong nahitabo kini kang Robredo.
“I’m a bit depressed. I asked why is it that this thing happened to good people, those who can really help the country,” nagkanayon si Young.
Si Konsehal Edgardo Labella nasubo sab sa kamatayon ni Robredo kansang pagkatawo wa maduhigi og mantsa sa pulitika.
“He (Robredo) is a great loss in the bureaucracy. He was one of the few public officials whose integrity is beyond question. I have the chance to be with him when we represented both our cities (Cebu City and Naga City) in receiving the “Galing Pook Award” in Malacañang,” nagkanayon si Labella.
Samtang si Konsehal Alvin Dizon naguol sab sa iyang kalit nga pagtaliwan sanglit nagtambayayong sila sa Mahiga demolition ug 93-1 issue.
“Im sad. Sec. Jesse is a great public servant and a great Filipino. I was honored to have been given the opportunity to work with him on the Mahiga demolition and 93-1 issues,” matod niya.
