Biktima pagpabusikad mihimo og protesta

ANG mga biktima sa uwahing pagpabusikad og granada sa layong barangay sa siyudad, lakip na ilang pamilya, supporters, mihimo og indignation rally atubangan sa United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP) church dinhi, mga alas onse sa buntag, sigun sa usa ka opisyal sa militar.

Si Lieutenant Colonel Lyndon Paniza, tigpamaba sa 10th Infantry Division, namahayag nga ang rally giapilan sab sa ubang biktima sa pagpanghasi sa New Peoples' Army (NPA) gikan sa nagkadaiyang lugar sa Mindanao.

"Relatives and supporters of the slain tribal chieftains in North Cotabato and Marilog district in Davao City were also among those who participated in the indignation rally," ni Paniza.

Ang mga nagprotesta dakong babag sa gihimong pagbayad sa mga rebelde ngadto sa ilang mga biktima sa pagpabusikad og granada atol sa pista sa Paquibato district, Davao City.

Matag biktima nakadawat og P5,000, pung ni Lieutenant Manuel Gatus sa Army's 57th Infantry Battalion.

Suma pa nga ang grupong Exodus for Justice and Peace (EJP), maoy nagsilbi nga "broker" sa negusasyon sa paghatag sa bayad.

Ang EJP, gipangunahan sa usa ka Bishop Villasanta nga maoy nangulo sa independent Church nga nakabase sa dakbayan.

Ang nagprotesta nangayo pa og lain luyo sa bayad.

Buot nila nga makasuhan, maaresto ang nagpaluyo sa krimen.

"Justice may only be served when the perpetrators, from the masterminds to the grenade thrower, all within the Communist Party of the Philippines, NDF, and the New People’s Army (CPP-NDF-NPA), are tried and punished before a duly-constituted court of the government of the Republic of the Philippines. The CPP-NDF-NPA must surrender to authorities the conspirators of the Paquibato Circus grenade attack so they can be fairly tried," ni Arthur Tariman, lead organizer sa grupo.

Sigun ni Tariman nga gitawgan sab nila ang EJP nga di na magpatunga, magsilbing broker nga alang niya dakong inhustisya nga pag-facilitate sa bayad sa NDF nga P5,000 ngadto sa mga biktima. (Malu Cadelina Manar)
