Civil Service Commission announces examination passers-A A +A

THE regional office of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) has reported 468 examinees have successfully passed the Career Service Examination Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) for professional level, and 33 for the sub-professional level.
In a statement released by CSC-Eastern Visayas, it said that 468 out of the 4,732 examinees passed the CSE-PPT professional level, while 33 examinees out of 453 passed on the sub-professional level.
Regional Director David Cabanag, Jr. named the top 10 examinees for the professional level as follows: Caesar Roderick L. Tado of Isabel, Leyte (rank 1); Adrea Mae Vivian Bru of Tacloban City (rank 2); Kenji Oraya of Dolores E. Samar (rank 3); May Nirza of Tacloban City (rank 4); Jan Leo Faller of Tacloban City (rank 5); Kyra Mae Solaña of Merida, Leyte (rank 6); Katherine Alexandra Taran of Catabalogan City (rank 7); Angelica Grace Gabriana of Tacloban City (rank 8); Erickson Leguarda of Tacloban City (rank 9) and Nherie Lynn Celeste of Palo, Leyte (rank 10).
Cabanag stressed that all passers are said to be conferred with the Civil Service Eligibility and may be appointed to positions in the government which is not being covered by bar, board or other special laws for as long as they meet other requirements such as education, experience and training required for the position.
Meanwhile, Examination Services Chief Roselie Taon disclosed that the top 10 examinees for the sub-professional level were: Maria Isabel Gonzales of Catarman, Northern Samar (rank 1); Niel Anthony Sermese of Calbayog, City (rank 2); Grace Briones of Catarman, Northern Samar (rank 3); Ivy Lozano of Pambujan, Northern Samar (rank 4), Kisha Mae Geriane of Catubig, Northern Samar (rank 5); Jermaine Alfon of Dolores, Eastern Samar (rank 6); Jeramy Catingub of Merida, Leyte (rank 7); Eric John Viñas of Carigara, Leyte (rank 8); Jose Marie Damayo (rank 9); and Ednielyn R. Jumao-as of Calubian, Leyte (rank 10).
The certificates of eligibility of the new passers who took the examination in Tacloban City will be awarded in a conferment rite to be held at the Student Center of Leyte Normal University, 8:00 a.m. on August 15, 2011. This activity will be preceded by Verification and Identification Process, and Orientation on Government Personnel Recruitment and Selection.
Meanwhile, for the eligible who took the examination at Northern Samar, conferment activity will be held at Ibabao Hall of Catarman Provincial Capitol.
The new eligible during the verification and identification process are required to bring along with them one recent passport-size ID picture, with name tag (not computer generated, preferably similar to the picture submitted at the time of examination application), valid identification card, and examination application receipt.
