DTI Regional Director Cynthia Nierras said that aside from the DTI regional office, all DTI provincial offices in the region have been also granted the same ISO certification.
On Friday, the DTI regional office received the certification from CIPI managing director Renato Navarrete during an awarding ceremony at the regional office here.
"The ISO certification will further improve the services of DTI to our clients. This will also inspire us to do more innovative projects that will help contribute to the national goals as provided in the quality management system manual," Nierras said.
Quality Management System promotes good governance; shows transparency in the processes and dealing of government offices to its clients; and enhances customer satisfaction, among others.
"Getting an ISO certification means that DTI is now globally recognized to deliver good quality product and service. A quality system shows that there is consistency in the day to day operations of DTI and improves the efficiency, reduce operating cost and minimize unproductive time," Nierras said.
