CATARMAN, Northern Samar -- District engineer David Adongay Jr. of the Northern Samar second district engineering office was once again awarded for outstanding public service by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Eastern Visayas.

The plaque of recognition to Adongay signed by DPWH Regional Director Rolando Asis read, “In grateful appreciation for bringing honor to the Department of Public Works and Highways by having been with the 2011 CSC Dangal Ng Bayan Award, in view of having demonstrated the highest form of personal integrity, professionalism and commitment to work and dedication to duty which are the ideal qualities of a public servant…”

Adongay was among the only five officials of government in Eastern Visayas and the only one from Northern Samar conferred by the Civil Service Commission as regional semi-finalist of the Dangal Ng Bayan Award relative to the CSC annual search for outstanding public officials and employees for 2011.
