Statistics office conducts enterprises survey

THE National Statistics Office (NSO)-Leyte Provincial Office is conducting the 2012 Survey of Enterprises in the Philippines on the 82 sample enterprises in the province of Leyte.
The survey aims to collect financial data and other information to derive indicators on output, gross fixed capital formation and value-added in order to improve compilation of the Philippine System of National Accounts (PSNA) and related key economic indicators for macro-economic planning, policy formulation and decision-making by the government and private sectors.
Regular NSO employees will be distributing the questionnaires to the sample enterprises and after 10 days, they will be collecting the accomplished questionnaire with financial statement. The respondents are hereby enjoined to cooperate on this undertaking.
Respondents are assured that the data to be gathered will be held strictly confidential and will not be used for purposes of taxation, investigation or enforcement procedure, nor be published except in the form of statistical summaries in which no reference to any person shall appear.
