AN WARAY party-list Representative Florencio Noel said his group will focus their election campaign on issues affecting the socio-economic development of Tacloban City in March next year.
Noel, who recently filed his certificate of candidacy for city mayor, said his team will tell the people how they are going to tackle joblessness, fight poverty, improve the economy and make life better for the people in the city.
“Vilifying political opponents, insulting, peddling lies and mischief taking is not the way to go,” Noel said.
Noel is running independent but his runningmate reelectionist Arvin Antoni and candidates for councilor Jose Mario “Joms” Bagulaya, Cesar Separa, Rudy Calabria, Raissa Villasin, Ace Jacklyn Young, Dalisay Erpe, Neil Glova, Evangeline Esperas, Jerry Uy and Jane Sumayod are running under the Liberal Party (LP).
“We have a very good team and we assure you we can help uplift the lives of the Taclobanons. Our campaign will focus on the vision and aspiration to further develop the city,” Noel said.
Among his vision were further development of tourism infrastructure, education system and health programs.
He also shared how the Eastern Visayas Regional Growth Center could be developed and generates jobs and income for the city residents.
“We have very basic programs. It’s a matter of implementing it the right way,” he added.
