MANILA -- Ambassador Harry K. Thomas Jr. will return to the historic Leyte Landing Memorial this week to announce the arrival of “America in 3D” in Tacloban City at Robinson’s Mall.
America in 3D, which showcases American culture and services in the Philippines, is a road show highlighting diplomacy, development, and defense programs of the US Government.
According to the US Embassy, which organized the event, the public will enjoy dance and musical performances led by the US Navy’s high energy rock-and-roll band, “The Orient Express.”
Vintage World War II jeeps will be on display at a mini-exhibit.
Visitors to the event can also learn how to apply for a US visa, as well as how to study in the United States.
Young legislators from the Leyte Provincial Board, Tacloban City Council and Palo Municipal Council will join Ambassador Thomas at the famous landmark commemorating Philippine-American friendship. (Leyte Samar Daily Express)
