Founded in 1970, Rustan’s Supermarket is a pioneer in modern grocery retailing having introduced many innovations from groundbreaking promotions to sourcing quality products from all over the world. Rustan’s was the first Manila retailer to operate in Cebu in 1985 having opened a department store and supermarket in a building that became a Cebu landmark along what was then known as Mango Avenue.

In 2006, the supermarket transferred to R. Arcenas St., Paseo Arcenas Estate, Banawa and a second branch opened at the Ayala Center Cebu in 2007.
