A COUPLE of weeks back, the Queen Pageant for Alternatives held, for the first time ever, a talent night with its candidates. I was excited to be there and was in complete awe of the different talents showcased that night. Now on its fourth year in a row, the Queen pageant is only getting bigger and ever so stronger, evident in the full house of cheering fans at the Amnezia Super Club where the Talent Night was held.
What struck me the most was the display of utter intelligence, wit and humor of the contestants during the press conference held before the show. The entire time I was sitting on my chair listening to the candidates’ answers, I was overcome with pride.
