FINALLY, Gaisano Mall of Davao’s The Peak is really filling up, with interesting additions at that.
Among the latest is Pepper Steak, and it was an interesting experience.
It was a full house when we arrived, except for two tables outside, thus Imee and her friend offered to stay in line while I occupy one of the two tables to ensure we have a space for ourselves once we’re all settled down.
The waiting took some time and with no one to talk with, my eyes wandered to a video screen on the glass wall.
It was showing what to do once you get your order for steaks, salmon steak, and the beef pepper rice.
For steaks, make sure you turn them the moment you get your hot plate, the same with salmon steak. The beef pepper rice, you mix them all together while the plate is very hot.
Or… you can ask the waiter to do it for you. Our waiter even smiled at the camera.
I had all the time to watch and so didn’t need assistance.
We ordered beef pepper rice (P198), double salmon (P385), Karubi Cut Steak (P225). We also got salads, kani, tuna, and something else I forgot because that was what I ordered but was later told it was out of stock and so they offered tuna.
Suffice it to say, I love salmon and I was in salmon heaven with two big slices. Everything was yummy, but maybe I was biased since I love salmon.
It’s definitely one place you should try if you’re craving for some quick steaks.
